How long will it take to ship my order?

The time I need to prepare an order for shipping may vary. However, most orders are expected to be fulfilled in 2-5 business days. Each item is designed and handmade in the US, and inspected before shipment. Processing and production times may vary depending on location.

What about shipping and delivery?

Our fulfillment partner fulfills orders within 2-5 business days (Mon-Fri), a timeline which does not include Weekends or Holidays. Please remember that the delivery of your order is the responsibility of the shipping carrier (USPS, UPS, DHL). 


Estimated shipping times 

North America: 2 - 5 business days 

International: 10 - 20 business days

I'll do my best to meet these shipping estimates, but cannot guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose.


Once a package leaves our fulfillment center, you must reach out directly to the shipping carrier to resolve delivery issues. You should have your tracking number ready when reaching out to the shipping carrier.

Will my international order get to me without any issues?

We use USPS (United States Postal Service), UPS and DHL for deliveries inside the United States and abroad. All of our shipments that leave the United States will likely spend time in customs for the country where the shipment arrives. Tracking numbers and carrier information, if applicable, will be sent to you after the shipment is confirmed. We cannot provide any customs clearance estimates, but in most cases, shipments may spend anywhere from one to three days in customs. 

IMPORTANT: Any customs or import duties are charged once the order reaches its destination country and must be paid by the recipient of the order.

Can I cancel my order?

After an order is placed, the production process begins immediately and cannot be undone. So, unfortunately, I can't cancel the order for you after it has been placed. 

I accidentally put in the wrong address, can you update it?

It depends. Most orders use prepaid shipping labels to keep production times to an absolute minimum. However, this process takes 1-2 hours on average and can only be updated within this time. Please contact me as soon as possible to see what can be done.


If you need to update a shipment after this time, please reach out directly to the shipping carrier to forward your order, at your expense. For these reasons, please double check your shipping address before checkout.

Can I return or exchange the item(s) I received?

Our products are made to order, and for this reason, cannot be returned or exchanged for matters of preference. However, any defects or issues relating to the product received, is guaranteed to be refunded or replaced at no cost to the buyer. Please have picture(s) of defects and your order number ready when reaching out via email.

My order never arrived or arrived damaged!

Don't worry, because all orders placed on BackyardPeaks.com are backed by our No Worry Guarantee. Any shipment(s) that never arrive or are delivered with defects, are guaranteed to be replaced or refunded. Please have picture(s) of defects and your order number ready when reaching out via email.

Do you offer customized items?

Yes! All items on BackyardPeaks are available to be edited to your personal preference. For example: if an item references 'lawyer', but you would prefer it to say 'attorney', I can update it for you. 

IMPORTANT: Contact me BEFORE placing an order. If an order has already been placed, the design cannot be updated.
