Funny Gifts for Grandpa Under $25
A funny gift for Grandpa works best when the joke sounds like your family. Start with the name he goes by, then decide whether he would prefer a pun, a gentle roast, or a nod to his coffee habit. These five BackyardPeaks mugs include three playful designs and two gentler alternatives.

Nacho Average Grandpa for the pun collector
If he has a joke ready before anyone has finished asking a question, start here. The “Nacho Average Grandpa” lettering gives him one more groaner for the breakfast table. It is an easy choice when you want something funny without swearing or taking a jab at him.
Choose this for a grandpa who likes wordplay, food puns, and a joke the whole family can read.

World’s Okayest Grandpa for the family roast master
This is the cheekiest pick in the group. “World’s Okayest Grandpa” works when affectionate teasing is already part of your relationship and he enjoys giving it back. The black handle and interior frame the warm-colored lettering.
Choose this if he laughs at being roasted. If you are unsure how he will take it, the Nacho Average or World’s Best design is the safer choice.

Grandpa Fuel for his first cup of the day
For the grandpa whose morning starts at the coffee maker, the joke needs little explanation. “Grandpa Fuel” pairs the wording with a small coffee cup and gauge illustration. The red handle and interior make this selected version easy to spot among plain kitchen mugs.
Choose this when his daily coffee habit is the joke you want to celebrate, or when you want a playful gift without a roast.

World’s Best Grandpa when a kind message fits better
Some grandpas would rather open a compliment than a punch line. This blue-accent mug keeps the message simple: “World’s Best Grandpa.” It is the gentler option for a family gift, a first gift from a grandchild, or a birthday when you want your note to do most of the joking.
Choose this if you want warmth with a little playful exaggeration. The wording does not depend on an inside joke.

Best Papa Ever when Papa is his name
The word he hears from his family matters. This design reads “Best Papa Ever,” so it suits a grandfather who is actually called Papa. The white version keeps the focus on the retro lettering and leaves more room in a $25 product budget than an accent-color mug.
Choose this for Papa. Check the spelling before ordering: Papa and Papaw are different names on a printed gift.

White or a colored handle
All five designs are 11 oz ceramic mugs with double-sided printing. Their product listings specify dishwasher and microwave safety. The white version of each is $16.99 before tax; black, blue, pink, and red accent versions are $18.99 before tax. Accent mugs have a colored handle and interior. Pick the design first, then the color he would actually keep next to his coffee maker.
The white-mug photos show two views of one mug, not a two-mug set. Each listed price is for one mug. These are fixed printed designs; choosing a color does not change the name or wording.
Grandpa Papa Papaw Grampy or Funpa
Use the name your family says out loud. If he is Papaw or Grampy, a different nickname printed on the mug can feel like a near miss. Funpa suits a family that already uses that joke. These five picks cover Grandpa and Papa; you can browse the broader Gifts for Grandpa collection for more names and styles. Check each listing’s wording, options, and price rather than assuming they match this guide.
If you want different wording, contact BackyardPeaks before ordering to ask what is possible. Do not assume a design can be personalized after checkout.
Allow time for making and shipping
These mugs are made to order. Production happens before shipping, so allow time for both. Check the current shipping and production guidance and FAQ before buying for a birthday or holiday. Estimates can change during busy periods, and holiday or special-date arrival is not guaranteed.
If his occasion is close, ask about your deadline before you order. A short note with the mug can explain the joke: why he is your family’s coffee-powered Grandpa, favorite pun teller, or one-and-only Papa.
